Beginning December 2, 2024, Plymouth’s Public Health Division, partnering with the Plymouth Fire Department, implemented a new community Sharps Disposal Program/Service. The new sharps disposal kiosk has been delivered by Chrysalis Environmental Services and is located in the Public Health Office within Town Hall.
With double the capacity of normal sharps containers, the Chrysalis Needle Disposal Kiosk can hold more than most other receptacles. “We are thrilled to now offer a Sharps Container Disposal Kiosk right here in the Public Health Office,” states Plymouth’s Director of Public Health, Karen Keane. “The new sharps disposal kiosk allows the Plymouth community a safe and environmentally friendly option to dispose of residential medical waste.”

- DO NOT put loose needles/syringes in the kiosk.
- DO NOT use a glass container or a bag of any kind.
- DO NOT leave a container outside the kiosk.
