I had a fire at my home and my insurance company says I need to obtain a fire report?

You can obtain a building or car fire report by stopping at Headquarters: 114 Sandwich Street, Plymouth, MA.  It is suggested that you call ahead and speak with Deputy Chief Hart.

Does the Fire Department check to see if I properly installed my car seat?

No, the Plymouth Fire Department has no Child Passenger Safety Technicians.

I’m selling my home, does someone have to be present to let the fire department in?

Yes, staff will not enter into a vacant or lock box home.

The fire hydrant on my street is buried in snow who do I call to have it shoveled out?

DPW, Water division is responsible for installing and snow removal.  It’s nice to have someone in the neighborhood give us a hand, but if you have a specific safety concern please call us. To report a leaky or damage fire hydrant or one that appears to be inaccessible call the DPW, water division at (508) 322-3406.

I’ve been locked out of my car?

The Fire Department does not assist with car lockouts.  Our only way to gain entry is to break a window or force a door open and this will cause damage.

Do we provide CPR Training?

We do not provide CPR Training.
